    Biography

    Steven Scott Nordhaus is a United States Air Force general who has served as the 30th chief of the National Guard Bureau since 2 October 2024. He previously served as the commander of First Air Force from 2023 to 2024. He served as the Director of Operations of the National Guard Bureau from 2019 to 2022. From 2017 to 2019, he was the Commander of the Air National Guard Readiness Center.
