| Admissions Requirements | For Bachelor’s study programs: For local students: Successful completion of upper secondary studies and possession of a valid school leaving certificate. Participation in the Universities national level Entrance Exams and achievement of an appropriate score in specific courses. The requested score for admission to the different Departments depends on the total number of applicants and cannot in any case be less than 40%. For foreign students: A recognized secondary school certificate, minimum grade point average and either the possession of a Greek language certificate for Greek bachelors or an English language certificate for bachelor’s taught in English. In case someone wants to attend a Greek bachelor’s without a prior knowledge of Greek, (s)he has to attend a one-year preparatory course. For Master’s study programs: Possession of a relevant bachelor's or equivalent degree diploma. Among the criteria considered for selection are degree grade, grade in special courses, good knowledge of English, research work, etc. For PhD studies: Possession of a relevant bachelor’s and master's degree as well as good knowledge of English.
