    Mishari bin Rashed Alafasy, born in Kuwait, is a qāriʾ (reciter of the Quran), imam, preacher, and Nasheed artist. He studied in the Islamic University of Madinah's College of Qur'an, specializing in the ten qira'at and tafsir. Alafasy has released various nasheed albums. He sings in Arabic, English, and French with only his voice, without any accompanying musical instruments.

    Zahran Alloush was a Syrian Islamist leader active in the Syrian Civil War. He was the commander of Jaysh al-Islam (or Army of Islam), a major component of the Islamic Front, of which he was the military chief, and was described as one of the most powerful persons in rebel-held Syria. He was killed in an airstrike on 25 December 2015 and Essam al-Buwaydhani was named his successor as head of Jaysh al-Islam.

    Biography

    Abdul Hadi bin Awang is a Malaysian politician who has served as Special Envoy of the Prime Minister to Middle East under Prime Ministers Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri Yaakob since April 2020, Member of Parliament (MP) for Marang since October 1990, 7th President of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), an Islamic political party and a component party of the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, since July 2002. He served as Leader of the Opposition from July 2002 to March 2004, Menteri Besar of Terengganu from December 1999 to March 2004 and Member of the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ru Rendang from November 1999 to March 2004. At the international level, he also serves as Vice-President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.
