Qanat Aldabergenuly Bozymbaev is a Kazakh politician, who has been serving as Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan since 2024. Prior to this role, Bozymbaev held several important positions in both local government and national administration. He served as the advisor to the President from 2023 to 2024 and as the Akim of Almaty Region from 2021 to 2022. Bozymbaev was also the assistant to the President from 2019 to 2022. He held significant ministerial roles, including the Minister of Energy from 2016 to 2019, where he oversaw major energy projects in Kazakhstan. He has served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan since 10 January 2007. and previously served as Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan from 4 October 2006 to 9 January 2007. Prior to that he served as the Äkim of Atyrau Region.
