    Andranik Nahapeti Margaryan served as the Prime Minister of Armenia from 12 May 2000, when the President appointed him, until his death on 25 March 2007. He was a member of the Republican Party of Armenia. He succeeded the Sargsyan brothers: Vazgen Sargsyan, who was murdered during the Armenian parliament shooting on 27 October 1999 and Aram Sargsyan, whom the President appointed a week later, but fired on 2 May 2000.

He was the founder and the lead singer of Apostles (1968 – 1979), the first rock band performing songs in their native language in the history of the Soviet Union. He is the author of different architectural projects, including Guest House and the new building of Matenadaran in Armenia.

    Arthur Roberti Sargsyan, better known as the Bread Bringer was an Armenian handcraft master, First Nagorno-Karabakh War veteran. He is known in Armenia as a man who brought food to the members of Sasna Tsrer armed group during the 2016 Yerevan hostage crisis. While doing it he rushed through the line of policemen, putting his life at risk. He was arrested after the events and went on hunger strike for 25 days. After that, he died of a heart failure derived from complications during surgery on intestinal rupture while being treated at the Armenia Medical Center. Deputy director of the medical center stated that he was taken to hospital, but it was too late. He is seen by many as a symbol of resistance to the Armenian ruling regime's heavy-handed response to popular protests.

    Vahe Alberti Hakobyan is an Armenian politician currently serving in the National Assembly of Armenia as a member of the opposition Armenia Alliance. He previosuly served as the governor of Syunik Province of Armenia from October 6, 2016 until June 2018. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, he was first deputy director general at the mining company Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine. A former member of Armenia's Republican Party, in March 2021 he founded the political party Reborn Armenia, which he currently chairs. The party participated in the 2021 Armenian parliamentary election in an electoral alliance with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation and former president Robert Kocharyan.
