    Stanisław Józef Moskal, alias Śledź Otrembus Podgrobelski was a Polish scientist and writer, a rural sociologist, a professor of agricultural science, associated with the Agricultural University of Kraków. He researched cultural transformations and determinants of development in Polish villages, particularly the ecological awareness of its inhabitants.
