Thelma Garcia Buchholdt was a Filipino American community activist, politician, historian, public speaker, cultural worker, and author. She was elected to the Alaska House of Representatives for four consecutive terms, from 1974 through 1982. She was the author of the book Filipinos in Alaska: 1788-1958, which is now in its third printing and is available through the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center.

Jon B. Wellinghoff is an American attorney who served as the chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) from 2009 to 2013. Kenneth Frank Eichner is an American trial lawyer based in Denver, Colorado. Before rising to prominence as a defense attorney Eichner was a prosecutor in Prince George's County, Maryland. Eichner represented Timothy Gaudette during the Congressional inquiry of Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the subsequent interview process by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Eichner also represented presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's server company, Platte River Networks, in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice National Security Division's inquiry into the handling of classified information.
