    Yuri Vitalyevich Mamleev, also Mamleyev or Mamleiev, was a prominent Russian novelist who began writing in the 1960s and won the Pushkin Prize in 2000. He is considered the founder of metaphysical realism as a literary genre. His best known work, The Sublimes (Russian: Шатуны), was a samizdat novel published in 1966 and translated into English in 2014 by Marian Schwartz.

    Igor Anatolievich Romishevsky was a Russian ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League. At the 1968 Winter Olympics and 1972 Winter Olympics he won the gold medals with the Soviet team. He was gold medalist of the World Championships from 1969 to 1971 and silver medalist in 1972.

    Yevgeny Vasilyevich Frolov is a retired Russian boxer. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics in the light welterweight division and finished in second and fifth place, respectively. Frolov was left-handed and his favorite strike was left jab. He retired with a record of 197 wins out of 212. He graduated from the Moscow State Forest University and then the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade and later worked at the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
