    Els Salomon-Prins Bendheim was a Dutch-born Orthodox Jewish philanthropist, theologian, author and photographer. In 2002, Bendheim was awarded the Yakir Yerushalayim (Worthy Citizen of Jerusalem) prize for her contributions to the development of Jewish institutions in Jerusalem.
