Donnie Munro is a Scottish musician and politician, best known as the former lead singer of the band Runrig. Munro served as the bands lead vocalist during their most commercially successful period, 1987–1995, particularly with the release of their album The Cutter and the Clan and the 1995 single "An Ubhal as Àirde (The Highest Apple)" which made chart history by becoming the first song to be performed in Scottish Gaelic to chart in the United Kingdom. Mara (1995) served as the last album released by Runrig to feature Munro on lead vocals, leaving the band in 1997 to pursue a career in politics.

Hannah Louise Miley MBE is a Scottish former competitive swimmer who specialised in the Individual Medley. Miley trained when she was younger at Inverurie Swimming Centre. She has represented Great Britain at three Olympic Games, reaching the final of the 400 metres individual medley on each occasion, finishing sixth in 2008, fifth in 2012 and fourth in 2016. Also in the 400 m individual medley, she is a former World short-course champion (2012), European champion (2010), and two-time European short-course champion (2009 and 2012) representing Great Britain, and a two-time Commonwealth champion (2010 and 2014) representing Scotland.

Alan John Jamieson OBE is a Scottish marine biologist, engineer, explorer and author, best known for his deep-sea exploration and study of life at the deepest places in the oceans. He is known for extensive use of deep-sea landers to establish the maximum depth and community dynamics of many organismal groups, as well as the discovery of many new species and highlighting the presence of anthropogenic impacts at full ocean depth. During the Five Deeps Expedition, and follow on expeditions in 2020, he completed various dives in a manned submersible to some of the deepest places in the world. He has published over 100 scientific papers and participated in 65 deep-sea expeditions.

Jóhanna á Bergi is a Faroese businesswoman. On 3 June 2015, she became CEO of Atlantic Airways. She is the first woman to become the CEO of a Nordic airline. She officially assumed the position on 1 September 2015. Bergi had previously served as the CEO of P/f Faroe Ship, from 2006 until 2015. She began her business career as the sales manager of Faroe Seafood France, a position she served from 1994 until 1998. In that year, she became a sales director of JFD and Kósin Seafood, where she remained until 2006; during the same period she served as sales and marketing director for JFK. Bergi received her degree in Export and Marketing from the Danish School of International Marketing and Export in 1994, following by a master's degree in management from Robert Gordon University in 2004.

While an elected Member of Parliament representing the Barbados Labour Party for the St. James South constituency from 1994 to 2008. She served as on different occasions as Minister of Health, Minister of Housing, Minister of Physical Development, Minister of Energy and Environment, and Acting Attorney General. She joined the United Nations in 2010, first serving as Assistant Secretary-General of the UN (2010 to 2013), a Special Adviser to the UN President of the General Assembly (2013 and 2014), and as the UN Secretary General’s Senior Advisor on Sustainable Energy for All (2014 and 2015).
