    Sushilkumar Sambhaji Shinde is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra. He was the Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Power in the Manmohan Singh government, and the Leader of the House in Lok Sabha until 26 May 2014. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 18 January 2003 to October 2004.

    Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil was an Indian politician who was Governor of Bihar, state in eastern India from 29 May 2012 to 26 November 2014. He is an educator and was a leader of the Indian National Congress from Maharashtra state. He was appointed the Governor of West Bengal (additional charge). On 24 December 2018, he joined Nationalist Congress Party.

    Satej Dnyandeo Patil alias Bunty is a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council from the Indian National Congress.He served as the Minister of State for Home (Urban), Housing, Transport, Information Technology, Parliamentary Affairs.He previously served as Minister of State for Home (Urban & Rural), Rural Development, Food & Drugs Administration of Maharashtra in the UPA coalition government from 2010 to 2014...Like many of his contemporaries, Patil also followed his father Dr. D. Y. Patil in politics. Patil hails from the city of Kolhapur.

    Dnyaneshwar Mulay – ज्ञानेश्वर मुळे, an Indian Career Diplomat who superannuated after 35 years of service, was appointed by the President of India as the Member, National Human Rights Commission in April 2019. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1983 and has since served in several capacities, including the Consul General of India, New York, and the High Commissioner of India, Male, Maldives. He is a successful writer and has written over 15 books, which have been translated in Arabic, Dhivehi, Urdu, Kannada and Hindi. His magnum-opus – Maati, Pankh ani Akash, written in Marathi, has received immense popularity and has also been prescribed in the Arts curriculum at the North Maharasthra University, Jalgaon (Maharashtra). He has inspired a number of socio-educational projects including Balodyan, an orphanage in his native village, and the Dnyaneshwar Mulay Education Society, which seeks to introduce innovative concepts like Global Education.
