Douglas Allen Collins is an American lawyer, politician, and Air Force veteran currently serving as the 12th United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs since 2025. A member of the Republican Party and a staunch supporter of Trumpism, he previously served as the U.S. representative for Georgia's 9th congressional district from 2013 to 2021 and in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2007 to 2013, representing the 27th district, which includes portions of Hall County, Lumpkin County, and White County. Collins also serves as a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force Reserve with the rank of colonel.

Darin McKay LaHood is an American attorney and politician who has served as a U.S. representative from Illinois since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, LaHood has represented the 16th district since 2023, and previously represented the 18th district from 2015 to 2023. He previously served in the Illinois Senate from the 37th legislative district from 2011 to 2015, before being elected to Congress in a special election following the resignation of Aaron Schock.
