    Gerald Norman Springer was a British and American broadcaster, journalist, actor, lawyer, and politician. He was best known for hosting the controversial tabloid talk show Jerry Springer from 1991 to 2018.     Newton Leroy Gingrich is an American politician who served as the 50th speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999.
