Ed Vere is a British writer and illustrator of children's books. He won the Highland Children's Book Award in 2007 for his book, The Getaway and was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal for children's book illustration, recognizing his 2008 picture book Banana. His third book, Mr. Big was chosen by Booktrust as the official Booktime book for 2009 and was subsequently distributed to 750,000 British schoolchildren making it the largest single print run of a picture book in the UK. Rohit K. Dasgupta FRAS, FHEA is an academic in the School of Culture and Creative Arts at the University of Glasgow and a British Labour Party politician. Prior to this he was based at the Institute for Media and Creative Industries at Loughborough University. In 2018 he was elected Councillor in the London Borough of Newham for the Canning Town South Ward. He was re-elected for the same ward again in 2022 He contested the Parliamentary seat of East Hampshire for the Labour Party in 2017, coming second with an increase of 7% vote share. He is also Secretary of the Newham Branch of the Fabian Society. In 2019 he was selected as an MEP candidate for the South East region but failed to get elected. Dasgupta is also a member of Labour's National Policy Forum and sits on the Work, Pensions and Equality Policy Commission.

Parvathi Nayar is a New Delhi born visual artist and creative writer. She is best known for her creative videos, sculptures, paintings, bookmaking and photography. She was one of 70 artists selected to be part of B70, the historical 70th anniversary birthday show of Amitabh Bachchan. One of her works, a 20-foot-high drawn sculpture artwork, was installed at New Mumbai airport on the opening day ceremony in 2014. David Thorp is an independent curator and director. He curated GSK Contemporary at the Royal Academy of Arts and Wide Open Spaces at PS1 MoMA New York, among many others. He was Curator of Contemporary Projects at the Henry Moore Foundation and was also director of the South London Gallery, The Showroom and Chisenhale. He has been Associate Director for Artes Mundi, the biannual contemporary art exhibition and prize at the National Museum of Wales, and following the death of Michael Stanley in late September 2012 was appointed Interim Director at Modern Art Oxford.
