Luis Enrique Austria Manalo is a Filipino diplomat who is the current Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the United Nations. Prior to that, he served as Undersecretary for Policy of the Department of Foreign Affairs. He also served as acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines from March 9 to May 17, 2017 when Perfecto Yasay Jr.'s ad-interim appointment confirmation was rejected by the Commission on Appointments due to citizenship issues.

Victoria Tauli-Corpuz is a development consultant and an international indigenous activist of Kankana-ey Igorot ethnicity. On 2 June 2014, she assumed responsibilities as the third UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. As UN special rapporteur, she was tasked to investigate alleged violations of indigenous peoples rights and promote the implementation of international standards concerning the rights of indigenous peoples. She continued to hold her special rapporteur position until March 2020.
