Steven Ellison, better known as Flying Lotus or sometimes FlyLo, is an American record producer, DJ, filmmaker, and rapper. He has released seven critically acclaimed albums: 1983 (2006), Los Angeles (2008), Cosmogramma (2010), Until the Quiet Comes (2012), You're Dead! (2014), Flamagra (2019), and Yasuke (2021). His 2014 song "I'm an Albatraoz" reached number 1 on the Swedish Singles Chart and in Denmark, and top 10 in many charts across Europe. Although Bell grew up in Los Altos, California, he attended Mountain View High School from which he graduated in 2004. Shortly after his third year of attendance, Bell joined Grand America Road Racing Association Koni Challenge Series in 2008 and raced with Turner Motorsport. For two years he raced for Turner Motorsport. Bell is racing for Stevenson Motorsport in the 2010 No. 6 Sunoco Camaro. Bell resides in San Mateo, California and when not racing is an instructor at Jim Russell Racing School.
