Viktor Dmitrievich Pivovarov is a Russian artist who lives in Prague since 1982. He represented Soviet Nonconformist Art and was one of the leading artists of the Moscow Conceptualist artistic movement of the 1970s, along with Ilya Kabakov, Erik Bulatov, and Irina Nakhova. His work reflected the complete ideologization of the Soviet lifestyle, often simultaneously expressing criticism and nostalgia for this lifestyle. Nakhova relates that Pivovarov was a major influence and first inspired her to paint.

Irina Isayevna Nakhova is an artist who has worked and lived between Moscow and the United States since 1989. Nakhova is a painter and installation artist. Her installations employ painting, sculpture, digital printing, video, and audio. In 2013, she won the prestigious Kandinsky Prize for her installation, Without A Title. In 2015, Nakhova became the first woman to have a solo exhibit in the Russian Pavilion at the Venice Biennial. She is represented by Nailya Alexander Gallery in New York City. Nakhova currently lives and works in New Jersey and Moscow.

Viktor Borisovich Perelman, was a Russian-language journalist, writer, publisher, editor, and dissident. He was the founder and sole editor-in-chief of a leading third wave Russian immigration international democratic journal for literary and social problems, "Time and We" or "Vremya I My" (Russian: "Время и Мы") from 1975 to 2001. In addition, he was the author of two autobiographical novels, one fiction novel, and dozens of published articles in leading Russian language newspapers and other press. As the founder of Time and We Publishing House, he published several Russian language books by well-known authors of third wave Russian immigration.
