* Ryerson University is among the institutions that don't provide data on acceptance rates. This might happen because the university has programs where applicants only need to meet admission requirements to enroll and don't necessarily compete with others.
We estimate the above acceptance rate based on admission statistics of closely ranked nearby universities with similar research profiles that do publish such data.
Acceptance rate & Admissions
Admissions Requirements | If graduating with OACs, most Ryerson programmes/schools encourage 70% or higher in six OACs, or equivalent, and include the required subject prerequisite within these averages. If graduating under the new curriculum effective 2003, most Ryerson programmes/schools encourage 70% or higher in a minimum of six Grade 12 U or U/C credits, and include the required subject prerequisite within these averages. Applicants from a country where English is not the first language, or where English is an official language but not the first language are required to provide proof of English proficiency at a satisfactory level. Eligibility for admission will be based on an assessment of academic and, when applicable, non-academic factors, such as audition, admission essay, interview, portfolio, etc. For the Diploma of Arts Programme and the pre-University Studies option, the minimum requirements is the OSSD. |
