    Enrique Roberto Cuellar is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 28th congressional district since 2005. A member of the Democratic Party, he is considered one of the most conservative and bipartisan representatives in the Democratic caucus. His district extends from the Rio Grande to San Antonio's suburbs. As of 2022, he was also the last Democrat to have held a statewide office in Texas.
