    Jean Edith Camilla Läckberg, also known as Camilla Läckberg Eriksson, is a Swedish crime writer and screenwriter. She is especially known for her series of novels set in Fjällbacka and featuring husband-and-wife duo of writer Erica Falck and police detective Patrik Hedström. The first of these, Isprinsessan, was published in Sweden in 2003. As of April 2025 the latest (11th) in the series is Gökungen, published in Sweden in 2022 and translated into English as The Cuckoo in 2024. She published the children's novel Super-Charlie in 2011, which became the first of a series, and the first novel in a new series, The Golden Cage, in 2020. Her work has been published in over 60 countries and sold more than 29 million copies worldwide.

He is considered one of the world's foremost experts in the cellular bases of motor behaviour. His research is focused on understanding the cellular bases of motor behaviour; in particular, he has shown how neuronal circuits in the spine help control rhythmic movements, such as those needed for locomotion. He is the current secretary general of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and president of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS). For his work, in 2008 he was awarded the $1 million Kavli Prize for deciphering the basic mechanisms which govern the development and functioning of the networks of cells in the brain and spinal cord. This prize distinguish the recipient from the Nobel prizes in basic medical sciences.

    Jörgen Erik Lehmann was a Danish-Swedish physician and clinical chemist best known for his discovery in the 1940s that para-amino salicylic acid (PAS) would make an excellent orally-available tuberculosis therapy. PAS was, together with streptomycin, the first efficacious anti-microbial therapy for tuberculosis and remained in clinical use for several decades. The exclusion of him as a Nobel laureate in 1952 was highly controversial, and the discoverer of streptomycin, Selman Waksman, was the sole recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine that year. In 1941, Lehmann also developed the anti-coagulant dicumarol, which is used for the prevention of blood clots and in the treatment of deep venous thrombosis.

    Susanna Roxman was an Anglophone writer, poet and critic born in Stockholm; her father’s family is Scottish. She was considered a gifted child. Her first few books were written in Swedish, but she switched over to English as her professional language. After having worked for some years as a secretary, a ballet teacher, and a fashion model, Roxman studied at Stockholm University, King’s College at London University, Lund University, and University of Gothenburg, where she earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature. From 1996 to 2005 she headed the Centre of Classical Mythology at Lund University. She had several collections of poetry published, as well as literary criticism.
