Anura Kumara Dissanayake, commonly referred to by his initials AKD, is a Sri Lankan politician who has served as the tenth president of Sri Lanka since 2024. Dissanayake is the first Sri Lankan president to be elected in a second round of vote counting, and the first not to be a member of the traditional political parties of Sri Lanka. He is also the ninth executive president of Sri Lanka, a constitutional distinction that separates the executive presidency established in 1978 from the earlier non-executive presidency.

Ashin Nandamālābhivaṃsa, also known as Rector Sayadaw (or Pamaukkhachoke Sayadaw, Burmese: ပါမောက္ခချုပ်ဆရာတော်, pronounced [pà maʊʔ kʰa̰ dʑoʊʔ sʰəjàdɔ̀]), is a Burmese Buddhist monk and scholar specialist in Abhidhamma. He is chief abbot of the monasteries of Mahā Subodhāyon and rector of Sitagu International Buddhist Academy. Recipient of the titles of Abhidhaja Mahā Raṭṭha Guru and Agga Mahā Paṇḍita, Nandamālā is an upaukkaṭṭha (associate Thathanabaing) and mahānāyaka of the Shwekyin Nikāya, the second largest monastic order of monks (nikāya) in Myanmar, since 2018.
