    Biography

    Har Gobind Khorana was an Indian-American biochemist. While on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he shared the 1968 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with Marshall W. Nirenberg and Robert W. Holley for research that showed the order of nucleotides in nucleic acids, which carry the genetic code of the cell and control the cell's synthesis of proteins. Khorana and Nirenberg were also awarded the Louisa Gross Horwitz Prize from Columbia University in the same year.

    Prem Chopra is a Hindi film actor who has appeared in over 380 films in a career spanning more than six decades. He is best known for portraying villainous characters in Hindi cinema during the 1960s through the 1990s, becoming one of Bollywood’s most recognizable antagonists. Although primarily cast as a villain, Chopra also played positive and character roles throughout his career.

    Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan was a Pakistani general who served as the third president of Pakistan from 1969 to 1971, under martial law. His presidency oversaw a civil war and genocide in East Pakistan, resulting in the Bangladesh's secession. He also served as the fifth commander-in-chief of the Pakistan Army from 1966 to 1971.
