    Yekaterina Aleksandrovna Gamova is a retired Russian volleyball player. She was a member of the Russian national team that won the gold medals at the 2006 and 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championships, and the silver medal in both the Athens 2004 and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Due to her stature and dominance at the net, she has been hailed as the "Queen of Volleyball". She is 2.02 m (6 ft 8 in) tall with EU size 49 feet, making her one of the tallest female athletes in the world. She is also the second highest paid female player in professional volleyball history. Her role was outside hitter/opposite.

    Evgeny Evgenyevich Kuznetsov is a Russian professional ice hockey forward for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for Traktor Chelyabinsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He has represented Russia in junior and senior level competitions on numerous occasions, winning gold medals at the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, as well as at the 2012 IIHF World Championship and 2014 IIHF World Championship.

    Sergei Mikhailovich Makarov is a Russian former ice hockey right wing. Makarov played on the gold-winning Soviet Union men's national ice hockey team at eight World Championships, and in the 1981 Canada Cup. At the Winter Olympics, he won the gold medal in 1984 and 1988 and a silver in 1980. In the Soviet Union, Makarov played 11 championship seasons with CSKA Moscow (Red Army), winning the Soviet Player of the Year award (also known as Soviet MVP) three times. Together with Igor Larionov and Vladimir Krutov, they formed the KLM Line, one of the most talented and feared lines ever to play hockey. He was awarded Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1984). He later played in the National Hockey League with the Calgary Flames, and won the Calder Memorial Trophy as rookie of the year at the age of 31. In 2001, Makarov was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame. In 2017, he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He was voted one of six players to the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) Centennial All-Star Team in a poll conducted by a group of 56 experts from 16 countries.

    Aleksey Viktorovich Markovsky is a retired Russian swimmer who won a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay at the 1980 Summer Olympics; he finished eighth in the 100 m butterfly event at the same Olympics. After the games, between 1981 and 1986 (aged 24–29) he won ten medals at the World and European Championships, mostly in relay events. He missed the 1984 Summer Olympics that were boycotted by the Soviet Union, and took part in the Friendship Games instead.
