Yahya Hawwa is a Syrian artist who started his artistic career in the early stages of his life. He memorised the Koran with an Ijazah (a connected chain of transmission to Muhammad) and holds a master's degree in psychology. He received an Oscar Award in the Cairo International Festival 2009–2010 in addition to the title of "the optimist" and "the artist of the Syrian revolution". He was also appointed as an ambassador for humanity in several charitable institutions around the world.
