    Winifred Kiiza is a Ugandan teacher and politician, who served as the Leader of Opposition in the Ugandan Parliament, from May 2016 until August 2018. She was replaced as Leader of Opposition by Betty Aol Ochan.

    Stella Chesang is a Ugandan long-distance runner. She won the gold medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

    Biography

    Diana Nkesiga was one of the first women to be ordained by the Anglican Church of Uganda. After earning her degree in theology, she was denied ordination but was permitted to become a commissioned worker in 1989 and a deacon in 1991. Passed over for the priesthood in 1992, she pushed authorities in both Uganda and then South Africa, where she was doing mission work to allow her to be ordained. Finally in 1994, she was ordained by the Anglican Church in Uganda. Returning to South Africa, she had difficulty finding a placement as a priest until Bishop Desmond Tutu intervened. After 13 years in South Africa, she returned to Uganda in 2005. She is currently the Vicar of All Saints' Cathedral in Kampala.

    Sam Byibesho is a Ugandan teacher, public administrator, and politician. He is the elected Member of Parliament for Kisoro Municipality and a representative of National Resistance Movement (NRM), the ruling political party in Uganda. He is a member of the Local Government Accounts Committee, the Committee on Public Service and Local Government, and the NRM Parliamentary Caucus in the 10th Parliament of Uganda.
