    John Moses Browning was an American firearm designer who developed many varieties of military and civilian firearms, cartridges, and gun mechanisms, many of which are still in use around the world. He made his first firearm at age 13 in his father's gun shop and was awarded the first of his 128 firearm patents on October 7, 1879, at the age of 24. He is regarded as one of the most successful firearms designers of the 19th and 20th centuries and a pioneer of modern repeating, semi-automatic, and automatic firearms.

    Jeffrey Roy Holland was an American educator and a religious leader. He was president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from October 14, 2025, until his death. He was the ninth president of Brigham Young University (BYU) and was acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles from November 15, 2023 until September 27, 2025, when the First Presidency was dissolved as a result of church president Russell M. Nelson's death.

    Daniel George John Tarkanian is an American attorney, businessman and perennial candidate for elective office. A Republican, he has mounted unsuccessful campaigns for the Nevada Senate (2004), Nevada Secretary of State (2006), the United States Senate (2010 and 2018), and the United States House of Representatives (2012, 2016, 2018 and 2022). In 2020, Tarkanian was elected to the Douglas County Commission and was reelected to a second term in 2024.
