Germana Viana is a Brazilian comic book artist, writer and illustrator. She began her career in the 1990s illustrating children’s books before working as a graphic designer and comics letterer, assisting in the representation of Brazilian artists for the North American market. Since 2013, Viana has published her own comics, including the series Lizzie Bordello e as Piratas do Espaço and the webcomic As Empoderadas, the latter of which won the 29th Troféu HQ Mix for Best Web Comic.
