    José Álvaro Osorio Balvín, known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian singer and rapper. He has been referred to as the "Prince of Reggaeton" (from Spanish: "Príncipe del Reggaetón"), and is one of the best-selling Latin music artists with sales of more than 35 million records (albums and singles) worldwide. Balvin was born in Medellín, Colombia. At age 17, he moved to the United States to learn English, where he lived in both Oklahoma and New York. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in the city.

    Santiago Botero Echeverry is a Colombian former professional road bicycle racer. He was a pro from 1996 to 2010, during which time he raced in three editions of the Tour de France and four editions of the Vuelta a España (the Tour of Spain). He was best known for winning the mountains classification in the Tour de France, and the World Championship Time Trial.

    Aníbal Gaviria Correa is a Colombian politician who has served as the Governor of Antioquia since 2020. Prior to this, Gaviria was the Mayor of Medellín from 2012 to 2015 and served as a visiting scholar at University of California, Berkeley.
