Koudou Laurent Gbagbo is an Ivorian politician who was the president of Côte d'Ivoire from 2000 until his arrest in April 2011. He was the first president in the history of the country that was a centre-left politician. A historian, Gbagbo was imprisoned in the early 1970s and again in the early 1990s, and he lived in exile in France during much of the 1980s as a result of his union activism. Gbagbo founded the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI) in 1982 and ran unsuccessfully for president against Félix Houphouët-Boigny at the start of multi-party politics in 1990. He won a seat in the National Assembly of Côte d'Ivoire in 1990.

Jean-Yves Beziau is a Swiss Professor in logic at the University of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, and Researcher of the Brazilian Research Council. He is permanent member and former president of the Brazilian Academy of Philosophy. Before going to Brazil, he was Professor of the Swiss National Science Foundation at the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland and researcher at Stanford University working with Patrick Suppes. Beziau created the World Logic Day, January 14, 2019. He then visited UNESCO in Paris and the day was recognized at unanimity the same year by the general assembly of this organization (194 countries).

François Grosjean is a Professor Emeritus and former Director of the Language and Speech Processing Laboratory at the University of Neuchâtel. He also has interests in biculturalism, applied linguistics, aphasia, sign language, and natural language processing.
