Jane Zhang is a Chinese singer-songwriter. She is known for her signature whistle register and has been dubbed the "Dolphin Princess" (海豚公主). Zhang began performing as a teenager by singing in pubs to help earn money for her family. After signing with Huayi Brothers Media Corporation in 2005, Zhang released her first studio album, The One (2006). Her second album, Update, was released in 2007. Zhang's third studio album, Jane@Music, was released in 2009. Her fourth studio album, Believe in Jane, was released in 2010. In 2011, Zhang released her fifth studio album, Reform, which was certified double platinum by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

Cao Diqiu was a People's Republic of China politician. He was born in Ziyang, Sichuan Province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1929. After graduating from Sichuan University, he went to northern Jiangsu Province after the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War to participate in guerrilla activities. He was the third mayor of Shanghai under the People's Republic of China until being deposed on January 6, 1967, in the wake of the "January Storm" phase of the Cultural Revolution. He was also Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary and Mayor of Chongqing.

Herath Mudiyanselage Charitha Herath is current member of Parliament from National List, Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE). and the Professor of Philosophy at the University of Peradeniya. His appointment was valid from 21 June 2019. Chair Professorship of Philosophy at Peradeniya has been one of the well established academic position.
